Beginner Foil

(10-14yrs) – 4:00 – 5:00 pm
This program is designed for kids between the ages 6-14 with no prior fencing experience. Basic footwork, blade work, defense and offense strategies are taught to provide a strong fencing foundation. Students are given a study guide of skills which will be covered and assessed each week. Upon completion of their skills, they will be invited to continue in the Youth Intermediate Program Full fencing gear will be provided for new students in the first month of class. Students are required to bring their own equipment to class after the first month.
Intermediate Foil
Mondays, Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays
5:00 – 6:30 pm
This class is for kids who have taken at least one year of fencing and are interested in improving their skills necessary to become more competitive foil fencers. Students are given a study guide of skills which will be covered and assessed each week . This level is learning strategies and tactics in various bout situations. Regular practice is recommended at this level. Athletes must own all their own equipment and be attired appropriately for each class.
Advanced Foil
Competitive Fencers’ Program (Travel Team)
Tuesday – Fridays
6:30 – 8:30 pm
This class is for competitive fencers who have successfully completed at least three years of intermediate level fencing and who would like to hone their skills in preparation regional, national and international tournaments. Advanced level of tactics and strategies are studied in bout situations.
The Advanced Competitive program offers longer practice hours and more practice days (up to four days weekly and 2-4 private lessons per week are strongly recommended for fencers at this level.
At this level, fencers should have their own equipment that is suited to competition.
Private Lesson
One-on-one private lessons taught by world-class coaches are 20 minutes each.

Cancellation Policy: Reserved private lessons must be canceled 24 hours before the appointment, otherwise the lesson fee will be charged in full.
